Have you obtained an academic degree or title from the University of the Philippines or studied there and earned 60 academic units? Are you willing to uphold the interest and objectives of UPAA Germany e.V.? Then, join us! UPAA Germany e.V. is a registered organization in Germany since 2011 and a recognized foreign UPAA chapter since 2012. The association supports Philippine-German cooperation projects and scholars in the Philippines through the UP scholarship programs. Registering as a member will automatically make you a patron of UP scholars. Please note that membership in UPAA Philippines or other UPAA chapters (legally registered or not) does not automatically make an alumnus/alumna a member of UPAA Germany e.V.

- The right to attend general assemblies, to vote and be nominated as a member of the UPAA Germany Board;
- The right to organize and/or participate in projects and activities of the association; - The right to propose resolutions and amendments to the UPAA Germany constitution; - The right to receive annual reports including audited annual statement of accounts of the association; |

Membership Fee
Regular members of the association are subject to the payment of a yearly membership fee (25€) which is tax deductible. Current students in Germany pay a discounted rate of 12.50€. UPAA Germany e.V. is a non-profit organization. Your membership fee helps cover operating costs and expenses in implementing the association's projects. Fifty percent of your annual membership fee will go to the UPAA Germany Scholarship Fund which is forwarded to the University of the Philippines' scholarship programs.

NOTE: For new applicants, please do not pay the membership fee prior to submission and approval of your membership application/form. Pay only when you have received the notice when to do so. After paying, (also for returning or continuing members), please do not forget to email us ([email protected]) your proof of membership fee payment. This would also update the board on the current email address that you are using. Official and internal communications of the organization are sent through individual emails. Only information which can be shared with the public are posted on the website and social media.
Current members could log in the Members' Corner with the members' password. The members' password is emailed together with the acknowledgement of the membership fee payment. The password changes every year or as needed, for security reasons. Your yearly membership ends on the 31st of December of the current year.
