UPAA Germany e.V. presents
Vincent Valiente
on his First Vocal Recital
A Vocal Recital by Vincent Valiente, tenor, with Kazuhiro Shigematsu, piano, was presented by the association at the Gemeindesaal der Heilig-Geist-Kirche in Berlin last September 5 at 5pm. The recital had two parts: European classical music from the 16th century to the 19th century and Philippine classical music in the last two centuries.
After the recital, a farewell party was held for Vincent Valiente who will study for a year at the University of Edinburgh.

About the Performer :
Vincent Valiente, tenor, has studied voice with opera singers Randy Gilongo, tenor, and Gloria Dizon Coronel, soprano, of the UST Conservatory of Music, and with opera singers Friederike Harmsen and Margarete Huber, sopranos. In 2014, Vincent started voice lessons with opera singer Antonio Faiete, tenor. Vincent has been singing in choirs and vocal ensembles since he was a child and in 2013 he began leading community choirs. He is currently a student at FU Berlin and at the University of Edinburgh.
About the Pianist :
Kazuhiro Shigematsu, born in Fukuoka, Japan, studied Piano at the Heisei College of Music. During his studies, he has accompanied chamber orchestras and voice students, and has founded a student choir. He came to Berlin in May 2015 to deepen his experience as a pianist.
